What is the Hyster XT Series?

The Hyster XT Series is a range of diesel counterbalance forklifts designed for high-utilisation environments. The XT Series covers 1.5T to 3.5T capacity and is built for durability, excellent operator visibility and responsive hydrostatic transmission. It is one of the most widely used forklift ranges on Australian construction sites and in warehouse operations.
Yes. All forklift operators in Australia must hold a current LF (Licence for Forklift) High Risk Work Licence issued by SafeWork NSW. Want Access confirms the operator’s LF licence before delivering the machine to site. No licence, no delivery. Want Access offers LF training through accredited affiliates. Call 9603 8883 to book.
Sydney metro hires typically land within 48 hours of a confirmed order. Urgent same-day and next-day requests are handled case-by-case. Call 9603 8883 and we’ll confirm availability and delivery window straight away.
For residential construction and tight sites, the H1.5XT or H2.0XT. For general construction and warehouse receiving, the H2.5XT is the most commonly hired model. For heavier yard and industrial work, the H3.0XT or H3.5XT. Call 9603 8883 and we’ll confirm the right model for your load and site.
The Hyster XT Series is available with duplex and triplex mast options. Standard free lift height is 3.0m, with triplex masts extending to higher lift heights where overhead clearance allows. Confirm your required lift height and overhead clearance when you enquire and we’ll specify the right mast configuration.
Every hire includes LF licence confirmation, pre-delivery inspection records, compliance certificate, risk assessment and SWMS templates. Documentation is formatted to pass Tier 1 audit. Additional compliance documents are available on request.
Call the 24/7 mechanical support line. A Field Service Technician is dispatched to assess. Repaired on site where possible, swapped same-day where not. You don’t pay for downtime caused by our equipment.
Yes. The Hyster XT Series is a counterbalance forklift suitable for both indoor and outdoor use on firm, stable surfaces. It is not a rough terrain forklift and is not suited to loose, uneven or sloped ground. For rough terrain applications, consider a telehandler from the Want Access fleet.
