Booked two scissor lifts on a Thursday afternoon for a Friday morning start. Both landed on site before 7am with the pre-delivery inspection, function test and compliance certs already in the cab - saved my supervisor an hour of paperwork chasing.

FAQ

Before you enquire

What is the difference between single and double width scaffold?

Single width scaffold is 0.8m wide — designed for single-person trade work in tighter spaces and narrower access areas. Double width scaffold is 1.3m wide — suitable for two workers side by side, or any work where a wider stable platform is needed for tools and materials. Both are 2.4m long and rated at 450kg platform capacity.
Both single and double width scaffold are available in platform heights of 2.0m, 2.5m, 3.0m, 3.5m and 4.0m. Working heights (standing reach from the platform) range from 4.0m to 5.5m. Call 9603 8883 and we’ll confirm which platform height suits your job.
Both options are available. Scaffold can be delivered assembled where site access allows, or flat-packed for sites where assembled delivery isn’t practical. Confirm your preference and site access details when you enquire.
Sydney metro hires typically land within 48 hours of a confirmed order. Urgent same-day and next-day requests are handled case-by-case. Call 9603 8883 and we’ll confirm availability and delivery window straight away.
For modular scaffold up to 4m platform height (the range Want Access hires), a Basic Scaffolding Licence is recommended but not always mandatory for the user. The person erecting the scaffold should hold the appropriate training and competency. Call 9603 8883 if you have specific compliance questions for your site.
Every hire includes pre-delivery inspection records, compliance certificate, SWMS templates and risk assessments. Documentation is formatted to pass Tier 1 audit. Additional compliance documents are available on request.
All Want Access scaffold configurations — both single and double width, all platform heights — are rated at 450kg platform capacity. This accommodates two workers plus tools and materials on double width platforms.
Yes. The modular scaffold available from Want Access is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use on firm, level surfaces. For outdoor use on uneven or sloped ground, adjustable base plates allow for levelling within the permitted range. Call 9603 8883 to discuss your site conditions.
