Booked two scissor lifts on a Thursday afternoon for a Friday morning start. Both landed on site before 7am with the pre-delivery inspection, function test and compliance certs already in the cab - saved my supervisor an hour of paperwork chasing.

FAQ

Before you enquire

What is a telehandler and what is it used for?

A telehandler (telescopic handler) combines the reach of a crane with the mobility of a forklift. Used for picking, carrying and placing materials at height — roof trusses, wall panels, pallets, steel and concrete products. With attachments it can also function as a work platform, crane jib or bucket loader.
Standard forks are supplied with every hire. Additional attachments including work platforms, crane jibs, buckets and pallet forks with side shift are available on request. Call 9603 8883 to confirm availability for your model.
Sydney metro hires typically land within 48 hours of a confirmed order. Urgent same-day and next-day requests are handled case-by-case. Call 9603 8883 and we’ll confirm availability and delivery window straight away.
When used as a forklift, operators require an LF (forklift) licence. When fitted with a work platform attachment, a Yellow Card (under 11m) or WP Licence (11m and above) is required. Want Access offers training from our Smeaton Grange facility. Call 9603 8883 to book.
Compact models (JCB 531-70, Haulotte HTL3510) have a smaller footprint – ideal for tight residential sites up to around 10m. High reach models (HTL4010, HTL4017) offer greater lift height and forward reach for multi-storey construction and large commercial sites requiring placement at 10m to 17m.
Every hire includes pre-delivery inspection records, compliance certificate, risk assessment, SWMS templates and load charts. Documentation is formatted to pass Tier 1 audit. Additional compliance documents are available on request.
Call the 24/7 mechanical support line. A Field Service Technician is dispatched to assess. Repaired on site where possible, swapped same-day where not. You don’t pay for downtime caused by our equipment.
Yes. Work platform attachments are available on request for suitable models. Operators must hold the appropriate EWP licence for the working height. Confirm attachment availability when you enquire.
